We take pride in being the home to one of the most extensive teams of dedicated specialists in the fields of gynecology, fertility, and maternity in East and Central Africa. Our accomplished team comprises experienced medical doctors, scientists, nurses, and counselors.
Officially inaugurated in September 2005 by His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, we achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first hospital in East and Central Africa to register the birth of the first IVF (Test Tube) baby in 2004. In addition to pioneering fertility treatments, we proudly hold the distinction of being the first hospital in Uganda to successfully perform Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery.
As of the end of 2022, our commitment to excellence in reproductive healthcare has resulted in the registration of over 2,000 babies born through artificial reproductive technologies. This accomplishment reflects our unwavering dedication to advancing medical techniques, ensuring the highest standard of care, and bringing the joy of parenthood to countless families in the region.
